There's a particular frustration that comes with awareness.
Not the frustration of someone who hasn't looked inward, who hasn't sat with anything uncomfortable, who hasn't done the work. The frustration of someone who has done all of that — the therapy, the breathwork, the ceremonies, the retreats — and still finds themselves back in the same dynamic, the same feeling, the same loop they were certain they'd finally broken.
If that's familiar, the work didn't fail you. Ceremony clears residue, but when the lesson underneath hasn't been learned yet, the residue builds back up.
Most healing modalities work within the timeline of this life. They access memory, emotion, the nervous system, the stories you've been telling yourself since childhood. And that's genuinely valuable. But some patterns don't originate there. Some of what you're carrying has roots that go deeper than this lifetime, showing up as recurring dynamics you can't logic your way out of, fears that have no obvious origin, relationships that follow the same arc no matter how much awareness you bring to them.
The soul accumulates. Every lifetime leaves residue — contracts made, wounds unresolved, roles you've played so many times they've become grooves rather than choices. Ayahuasca can illuminate these patterns brilliantly. What she can't always do is take you back to the specific origin point, help you understand the lesson embedded there, and support you in consciously releasing what was taken on in another time entirely.
That's where past life regression comes in — not as a replacement for the work you've already done, but as the layer underneath it. We access the memory where the pattern actually began, understand what your soul was trying to learn, release the energetic residue that's been following you forward, and sometimes retrieve the parts of yourself that were left behind in the process.
The pattern doesn't keep coming back because you're broken or because the medicine failed you. It keeps coming back because it's carrying a lesson your soul hasn't fully integrated yet, and it will keep showing up — in different relationships, different circumstances, different forms — until that integration happens.
